Award Introduction/Instructions
Dear ACUA Member,
We are calling for nominations for the 2008 awards, which are:
- Member Excellence in Service
- Outstanding Professional Contributions
The criteria for each award, procedures, and forms are available at Member Excellence in Service Award and Outstanding Professional Contributions Award. We encourage you to participate in the nomination process. If you know someone who satisfies the criteria for either award, please take the time to fill out the nomination form. The awards include a free registration to the next Midyear or Annual Conference, a letter of congratulations sent to the President of the awardee's institution, and an engraved plaque.
As you put together your nomination, keep in mind that the more thorough you are in supplying information about your nominee, the more likely the Committee will identify all pertinent and important contributions your candidate has made to the Association or to the field of internal audit.
It is the Association’s goal to continue to recognize through these awards those people who truly demonstrate excellence. These prestigious awards will continue to be competitive. It is our goal, as the Member Awards/Scholarship Committee, to ensure the selection of the top candidate for each award. Please help us fulfill this goal by bringing to our attention the ACUA members who are most worthy of this distinction. Thank you.
Sincerely,
William Peters
Member Awards/Scholarship Committee Chair
