ACUA remains at heart a grassroots organization and so it is our volunteers who drive our success. This new feature is created to salute both our past and present volunteers.

There are a million-and-one ways (well, nearly), to be involved in helping ACUA organizationally and gain lots of different types of experience in the process.

Past Leaders
It is impractical to list all past ACUA volunteers -- there have been thousands. Annual it takes more than a hundred members giving of their time and talents to carry on our programs and services.

SALUTE TO OUR CURRENT VOLUNTEERS!
Without the dedicated services of these people, ACUA would not be able to sustain the quality of its programs and services. Their hard work and sacrifice is gratefully acknowledged. But we can't take them for granted. We publish this list to express our gratitude, but also to demonstrate the sustantial volunteer corps it takes to run ACUA and to encourage additional members to volunteer their services. Volunteers can be searched by Committee or by last name.

ACUA has a Most Wanted List geared toward the specific strategic goals slated to be implemented within the next 12 months and YOUR assistance is needed.
HOW CAN I HELP?
ACUA will be utilizing virtual volunteering. Virtual volunteering is giving cyberspace a heart and giving true meaning to the concept of online communities. It allows ACUA to use its members, who are spread across the globe, to contribute their time and expertise toward a common task. This will also help ACUA achieve its goal to become a one-stop shop for its members.
The following strategic goals are slated to be implemented within the next 12 months and YOUR assistance is needed to achieve these goals.
- Develop a sustainable process for maintaining and using ACUA demographic data on our members.
- Analyze and recommend products/services that reflect the ACUA demographic profile
- Align the ACUA Audit Program Library with the Risk Dictionary
Take an active role in ACUA. There are currently 150 ACUA members serving on 266 different committee capacities or task forces. Several new task forces have been formed this year. Please share your interest with us, and we will do our best to get you involved....Sign me Up
