There are a million-and-one ways (well, nearly), to still be involved in helping ACUA organizationally and gaining lots of different types of experience in the process.
So you've been thinking about volunteering? After all, one can hardly turn on the television or radio or open a paper and not hear about the good that is being accomplished by volunteers and about the real needs they meet. But what does it mean to be an ACUA volunteer?

How Can I Help?
ACUA will be utilizing virtual volunteering. Virtual volunteering is giving cyberspace a heart and giving true meaning to the concept of online communities. It allows ACUA to use its members, who are spread across the globe, to contribute their time and expertise toward a common task. This will also help ACUA achieve its goal to become a one-stop shop for its members.
The following strategic goals are slated to be implemented within the next 12 months and YOUR assistance is needed to achieve these goals.
- Create an Internal Auditing Start-Up Kit for an new internal audit function
- Update the ACUA Website and keep information on the site current.
- Develop a sustainable process for maintaining and using ACUA demographic data on our members.
- Analyze and recommend products/services that reflect the ACUA demographic profile
- Align the ACUA Audit Program Library with the Risk Library
