Annual Conference

2002 Annual Conference was held in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 22-26, 2002. The most memorable moment of this conference was more a collection of moments as many of our attendees came down with altitude sickness. Some of the bouts were serious and attendees had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. Once everyone adjusted to the higher altitude, things settled down. Keynote speakers for this event were from James E. Morley, Jr., President, National Association of College and University Business Officers who spoke on his vision of critical issues facing business officers and their key stakeholders (which includes auditors); H. Lynn Cundiff, President, Salt Lake City Community College who spoke on integrating technology into education and administrative processes in progressive ways and nationally know speaker, Nancy Friedman who share insight on ways internal auditors can incorporate solid customer service into the audit communications to achieve favorable responses from audit clients.
