Midyear
2003 Midyear Seminar was held in Austin, Texas at the Hyatt Regency April 6-9, 2003. Over 200 attendees supported the Midyear in Texas with a rousing Texas welcome.
Annual Conference
2003 Annual Conference was held in Nashville, TN September 14 – 18, 2003. Keynote addresses were from Dr. Dale Henry, who spoke on leadership skills and Dr. Michael Hoffman, Executive Director of the Center for Business Ethics at Bentley College, who spoke on a model he developed to understand the meaning and attributes of ethical leadership, the symptoms of ethical leadership failure, and the means by which to avoid such failure. The final keynote address was given by Dr. Rick N. Whitfield, Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Whitfield discussed the strategies needed to safeguard college and university core mission of teaching, research and service.
