Midyear
2004 Midyear Seminar was held in Albuquerque, NM at the Hyatt Regency, April 14-17, 2004. A Mexican style barbecue with live Spanish dancers highlighted our social event. Attendance at this event was approximately 173.
Annual Conference
2004 Annual Conference was held in Washington, D.C. to the delight of many ACUA members. This was evidenced by a record turnout of attendees for this program. Highlights of the event included a performance by the Capital Steps and a dinner dance with a live band. Speakers included well known Washington press, legal issues addressed by Charles Thebaud, Jr. of Morgan Lewis Law Firm and Joanne B. Cuilla, Professor and Coston Family Chair, Jepson School of Leadership Studies, University of Richmond. Cuilla spoke on the Ethical Pitfalls of Good Leadership.
