2004 Annual Meeting

 
At the Annual Business Meeting, Seth Kornetsky(right) passed the presidential gavel to Patrick Reed who will hold the presidential office until the Annual Business Meeting in 2005. New directors Betsy Bowers and Donald Holdegraver were also inducted. Rob Clark and Nur Erenguc rotated off the board this year and received recognition for their contributions to the association. Education is the focus of ACUA events, and this year the professional development offerings did not disappoint. Keynote speaker Charles Thebaud presented “Establishing and Maintaining an Open Work Environment” at Tuesday's general session.

The special event always brings out the fun in ACUA. This year's event was no exception. But who were those masked members? Only those who were there know for sure.

 

During the general session on Tuesday, Seth Kornetsky (far right) presented on ACUA's behalf the Excellence in Service Award to Donald Holdegraver (second from right) for his dedication to ACUA. Chuck Jefferis and Kate Head, 2003 award recipients, co-chaired the Awards Committee. Also receiving the award was Thomas Salzman, who was unable to attend the conference. The exhibit hall was a hub of activity with opportunities to explore audit-related products and services, network with colleagues, and win a door prize. If Lady Luck was on your side, you walked off with one of many great prizes. This is one of our door prize winners happily presenting her ticket.
